this folder should contain everything involving music work that was published by me at one point. of course, i am all in on archiving and preserving art, artists such as myself are obligated to do as such. in the past, as time went on, things would gradually get removed and unpublished due to a variety of circumstances:

• soundcloud's upload limit without a subscription (being 2 hours worth of tracks)
• general disinterest leading to total cancellation of an album, EP, collage, ...
• the work not reflecting me and my values (as a person, due to passage of time)
• the work wasn't important enough to keep around, and/or i needed to clean up my discography

this is still sort of going to be the case now. no matter what, nothing's gonna stay published forever. that's what the backlog is for - to keep all of my works, published and previously unavailable, in one place. there's definitely some junk and generally not great stuff (sometimes to the point of being unlistenable or incomprehensible), being especially true around pre-impact era, but that's just the result of not knowing what i was doing at the time. mostly due to the constant need and desire to make something even if i wasn't fully committed to it, causing in the production of a lot of half-baked works that weren't really thought out past the paper idea of "time to make something." there are still a few i like to look back on, but it's quite the dig down to find gold in a lot o' dirt.
